The Washington County Dairy Promotion Committee is a board consisting of seven members and one Agriculture Ambassador.  The Washington County Dairy Promotion Committee is a local branch of the Wisconsin Milk Marketing Board.

The Washington County Dairy Promotion Committee strives to promote consumption of healthy food options such as dairy products and produce. Our goal is to support positive public relations about farmers and farming practices, educate our non-farming neighbors, and positively influence the agriculture curriculum in our county’s elementary schools.

Much of this is made possible by our biggest fundraiser and your support at Breakfast on the Farm!

We are privileged to organize and sponsor 26 years of agriculture education and tasty food at the annual Washington County Breakfast on the Farm. This event has been a staple in the county. It showcases our county’s beautiful farms, well cared for animals, and friendly people that open their doors to the public. We are proud to say that we are able to offer an on farm experience to those who attend our Breakfast on the Farm through the partnership of our fantastic Washington County Dairy Farmers!

Monies generated at the Breakfast on the Farm continue to support Agriculture Ambassador’s work in Washington County elementary schools, scholarships, Ag Adventureland at the Washington County Fair, Ag Day at three local farms for local elementary students, donations to organizations such as Celebrate Families, Wild Wacky Weekend and so much more.

We also offer 3 $1000.00 Scholarships  to a High School senior or College student pursuing a career in an Ag related field. This program was started in 2014 and continues to grow each year.
